Meeting minutes app that writes decisions and action items
Verbale turns a recorded meeting into minutes: the decisions made, the action items and the open questions, with owners and due dates where they were said. Each item is linked to the moment it was said, so you can tap it and hear it.
How it works
- Record the meeting with Verbale on your Android phone.
- Stop recording. The phone writes the transcript, separates the speakers and pulls out decisions, action items and open questions.
- Check each item against the audio, then copy the write-up into your email or document.
What you get
- Free, forever, no account: the transcript by speaker, decisions, action items and open questions, search for every word, and copy for any write-up.
- Pro, with a 7-day free trial through Google Play: a summary and minutes written up in plain English and shaped to the kind of meeting, export to PDF, Markdown, text, SRT subtitles and MP3, and asking a meeting a question.
- Free covers 5 meetings a month, up to 1 hour each; imports and dictations count.
Privacy
Recordings, transcripts and minutes are made on your phone and never uploaded. The free tier needs no account. The app uses the network for only three things: a one-time download of its speech models, checking a subscription, and opt-in crash reports that never carry content. It has a screen that counts every network call it makes.
Questions
Does it record who has to do what?
Action items are listed with the owner and the due date when they were said aloud. When no owner or date was said, the item is listed without one; check it against the linked moment.
Can I check an item against what was said?
Yes. Every decision, action and open question is linked to the moment it was said, and you can tap a transcript line to hear it.
Can I send the minutes to someone?
You can copy any write-up on the Free tier. Exporting to PDF, Markdown, text, SRT subtitles and MP3 is part of Pro.
Are the minutes always right?
No. They are a first draft made from a transcript, and a transcript can miss words. Read them before you send them, using the linked audio to check.
